Famous Authors Visit Ashdell

Ashdell was honoured with a visit from world famous, top selling novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford on Saturday.  The author was special guest at a literary mothers' and daughters' evening and her speech inspired our girls to work hard and believe in their dreams.

As part of our focus on literacy, Ashdell were lucky enough to be visited by Andrew Cope, the author of the Spy Dog series, poet Tony Mitton and illustrator Lydia Monks.

Mystery Trip Revealed

The mystery destination was finally revealed, as we were driven into the entrance....of Chester Zoo!
A wonderful time was had by all. We saw lions, tigers, jaguars, meerkats, giraffes, elephants, snakes and iguanas, to name but a few.
The weather held out and shone gentle sunshine on a happy school.
The girls' behaviour was exemplary, they were a delight to spend the day with and were a true credit to both you, their parents and Ashdell.

We are aware that a child's first step into full time education is very important and that it must be a positive and happy experience. Our aim at Ashdell is to provide a calm, happy and secure environment which is also stimulating, challenging and exciting.

Your daughters will gain in confidence and initiative, work hard, learn to think independently and experience the satisfaction which comes from their own achievements and successes.
