Jubilee Celebrations At Ashdell
Rain certainly didn’t stop play here at Ashdell today. Celebrations in school included ‘Queen for a day’ mashcams using Purplemash and classes quizzes. The girls then enjoyed a street party (despite the rain!) and delicious cakes courtesy of Mrs Pilling and her great team, followed by a fantastic Jubilee celebration, lead by Pre-Prep. They lead us through the 50′s with their great dances and the show finale was the wonderful crowning of our new ‘May’ Queen Elizabeth. Jessica (formerly known as Queen Rose) handed over her flowers in time old tradition to Ella – this year, named Queen Elizabeth in celebration of the Jubilee year.
Thank you to all our staff, parents, relatives, helpers and members of the local community for joining our celebrations!
