Day 2
A total of of 20 medals were up for grabs today and it really tested our Olympians creative, mental and physical prowess.
All the athletes assembled in the hall for the English Challenge, creating Poetry based on the Olympic Rings colours. The girls rose to the challenge and produced some fantastic pieces of work. It was a tough one to judge but the results are as follows.
Results
1st – Asia
2nd – Africa / America
3rd – Europe
4th – Oceania
The athletes then warmed up and stretched ready for an inter-continent rounders at the Paddock. There was some great examples of leadership from the captains and motivation from the crowd was amazing. Even the team from Africa (staff) showed the rest of the world what they were made of but unfortunately they crumbled under the pressure against the P4 girls and had to settle for 2nd Place.

After a vary civilised Europe picnic for lunch it was back to school for an action packed afternoon.
For the music quiz team work was a must with a variety of questions and singing (even the Africa team staff had to be Ashdell Singing Stars!) and again the competition was very close and medals had to shared.

Madame Daley really put us through our paces to end the day with a French quiz and the athletes demonstrated their language skills and knowledge superbly. The gold medal had to be shared between 3 teams in the end!!!

The medal table is bursting at the seams already with Europe and America sharing top spot closely followed by Oceania / Asia / Africa.
