Ashdell, a traditional preparatory school for girls aged 4-11, was founded in 1948. The school buildings occupy two beautiful Victorian houses and an adjoining coach house with gardens, car parks and play areas between. The school is situated in a delightful leafy suburb of south-west Sheffield. Broomhill is one of the city's most desirable residential areas with the advantage of being close to both the City Centre and to the Peak District National Park.
The school is regularly inspected and approved by the Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools and is a member of the Independent Schools Information Service.
