A great Sports Day kicked off our build up to the 2012 Olympics.

Since Ashdell use the  EIS – Sheffield’s wonderful indoor venue – for their sports day, no rain could keep our fun at bay!

The girls all ran, balanced, hopped, and jumped with the determination of true Olympic athletes and I’m sure all our watching parents were very proud!  Equally, our parents came forwards in their droves this year and showed their humour and willingness to to entertain by entering our ‘mystery’ race this year.  (We’ve sent the hair-grip that was found in a beanbag away to be forensically investigated and may need a stewards enquiry as to the winners of the ladies race!)

The points were all added up and the results were as follows: 1st place – Rivelin, 2nd place – Porter, 3rd place – Don, 4th place – Loxley
